Lakme deep pore cleanser Review:
After an exhausting day, I prefer to use baby oil or extra-virgin olive oil for removing makeup or dirt every night and these tricks really works as a good makeup remover. My experience with Lakme deep pore cleanser:
I have a normal skin so I picked one which is for normal skin. I started using this product from my college days to remove dirt and impurities or to remove the makeup and it certainly removes all the dirt and makeup effectively. To remove dirt, I use a cotton pad dabbed in deep pore cleanser in circular motion. And to remove makeup, I first remove it with cotton pad dipped in olive oil or baby oil and after that I use cotton dipped in Lakme deep pore cleanse until no make-up residue is left on cotton
It doesn’t remove all the eye makeup and it may harm the eyes if it goes inside the eyes while removing eye makeup, since it contains chemical. So I use extra virgin oil canola oil to remove my eye makeup.
Tested Lakme deep pore cleanser to remove makeup
(A): Olive Oil + Lakme deep pore cleanser:
I applied Lakme liquid foundation as a base and then lipstick over it to test if it removes the makeup effectively. First, I removed makeup using moist cotton pad dabbed in extra virgin olive oil. This removed most of the foundation and lipstick. After this I removed the residue using moist cotton pad dabbed in Lakme deep pore cleanser.
After cleansing with Extra virgin Olive Oil:
After Cleansing with Lakme deep pore on second time:
(B): Lakme deep pore cleanser + Lakme deep pore cleanser:
Re-done the makeup in similar way. This time I didn't used olive oil in the first take, instead used Lakme deep pore cleanser. It took me two takes to remove the makeup completely. But the result were satisfying, Lakme deep pore cleanser worked well in removing makeup.
In the first take removed the makeup using Lakme deep pore cleanser:
This time it looks more clear and clean after first application when compared with Olive Oil. Again used Lakme deep pore cleanser for the second time to clean the residue:
After second application, all the visible residue vanished and skin looked more clean and smooth. I felt that it may also help to remove the heavily done makeup, but maybe it would need more takes.
In both the approaches, I didn't find a remarkable difference. But using Lakme deep pore cleanser is quite convenient and leaves a nice feel on skin, whereas olive oil might not suit oily skinned people and will be sticky.
Test Lakme deep pore cleanser on 'Mascara':
This time I used a trick and set a paper near my eyelashes, so that it won't go inside my eyes and cause any irritation and then used moist cotton pad dabbed in Lakme deep pore cleanser. It helped me to remove the eye makeup to some extent. But hang on!! if mistakenly it goes into the eyes, it may cause irritation. So I would prefer sticking to my conventional way to remove eye makeup. I use extra virgin olive oil to remove eyeshadow, eye liner and mascara since it doesn't cause any irritation to eyes.
